The Wish Thief
Applications are open for all young people ages 8-16 to create our 2026 production. Auditions will take place in Dublin before intensive rehearsal weekends during school holidays in February & March.

Artistic Directors Ciarán Kelly and Naoise Whearity have a combined wealth in stage performance, conducting and opera. Every production by Youth Opera Ireland reflects our commitment to innovation and artistic excellence. By integrating captivating narratives with vibrant musical scores, we aim to spark a passion for opera in young audiences, and inspire the next generation of opera enthusiasts.
